Pasteurisation

Overview

Pasteurisation is a process of food and beverage preservation in which packaged and non-packaged foods (such as beer, fruit juices, dairy products, vegetables) are treated with mild heat, usually to less than 100 °C (212 °F), to eliminate pathogens and extend shelf-life.  The process is intended to destroy or deactivate microorganisms and enzymes that contribute to food spoilage.

Our range of equipment allows for products to be pasteurised on the way to the filling machines (flash pasteurisation), storage tanks, bag in box,  or the final packaged product can be pasteurised using heating chambers or pasteurising tunnels.
