Grapes are fed into a destemming machine, either by hand or mechanically.
During destemming grapes are removed from the stems and are then separated by means of a tumbling drum with grapes allowed through and stems discharged at the end.
Our gentle systems allow for optimum grape separation. Grapes can then be conveyed for further sorting (optical, mechanical or manual) if required.
